Editorial Assistants
We are currently recruiting for two editorial assistants to work on our interactive products within our English & Creative Arts and Humanities teams. Working across a range of subjects, successful applicants will be enthusiastic and creative with an eye for detail and a good understanding of what makes an educational resource work.
An editorial assistant will usually work on a project with one or two editors within a larger team. The job involves assessing material sent in by authors, writing/briefing additional content, formatting and copy-editing content, picture research, clearing permissions, developing interactive activities, testing, proofreading and making corrections.
This is an ideal first job in publishing with excellent career potential. The successful candidates will be enthusiastic and creative with an excellent eye for detail. A good degree is essential as is a willingness to work across a range of subjects. Some publishing or teaching experience or a publishing qualification would be ideal.

Field Sales: Educational Consultants
Are you looking for a rewarding sales role, selling market-leading teaching and learning resources to secondary schools? We have exciting opportunities for target-driven sales professionals across the UK, including in Scotland, London, Birmingham and the North East. As an Educational Consultant you will work on new and existing business, making appointments, presenting in schools and at exhibitions across your territory, and working closely with an in-house sales team.
You will have at least two years’ sales experience, be adept at developing and managing a territory, and ideally have experience in the education sector. You will be highly motivated and a confident, effective communicator looking to further your career within an organisation that offers great opportunities for development.

Customer Account Managers
We are recruiting for sales people to join our outbound sales team. Working on secondary school product led telesales campaigns, the successful candidates will be contacting teachers, heads of departments and deputy heads, following up direct marketing generated sales opportunities/procedures, and meeting and exceeding weekly sales revenue targets.
The roles are suitable for bright, hungry and motivated sales professionals, educated to a minimum of A-Level. Previous sales experience is required.
Internal Sales Consultants
We are also looking for sales people to join our primary outbound sales team. Focusing on primary school product led telesales campaigns, the successful candidates will be placing products on evaluation to schools and following up direct marketing generated sales leads.
The roles are ideally suited to fit in with existing childcare arrangements, working term-time only, with hours that can be tailored to suit an individual’s existing commitments. Previous sales experience is desirable but not essential.
Flash Designers
We are searching for creative freelance designers to help make our products thoroughly engaging, highly useable, and very rewarding. Successful applicants will have experience of working in Flash to illustrate and animate.

Flash Developers
We are looking for able Flash developers to work across our educational products. Our projects range in scale, but always require strong coding ability, as well as more general Flash skills. You will work closely with our editors and designers to produce effective and compelling multimedia content. Successful candidates will have a sound knowledge of ActionScript, including ActionScript 2.0, and experience working with Flash. We are also interested to hear from freelance Flash developers and Graduate Software Developers.
