Free KS3 interactive on static charge!

Show your students how a balloon can demonstrate static charge with our free animation!

This fun visual interactive investigates how different items are affected by contact with a charged balloon.

First, fully charge the balloon by rubbing it on a woolly jumper. Then explore how a wall, a cat, scraps of paper, and running water are all affected by the charged balloon. Use the zoom function to show your students exactly how the negatively-charged balloon repels the negative charges of the item and is attracted to its positive charges.

This interactive is an excellent starter before students plan their own investigation into static charge!
